SMS Program & Opt-In Evidence
How users consent to text messages from Billy
This page documents the SMS program operated by IntelliFirm (a product of Solve Technology Solutions, LLC) and shows the exact in-app consent flow, so carriers and A2P 10DLC reviewers can verify it without a login.
What IntelliFirm is
IntelliFirm is legal-operations software for law firms. Its assistant, Billy, helps firm staff stay on top of billing and time entry. The platform is used by attorneys and firm administrators who hold an IntelliFirm account.
SMS is a small, optional part of the product: an opt-in reminder that nudges a user to log unbilled time. Messages are operational and account-related — they are never marketing or promotional, and consent is never bought, sold, or shared.
Who receives messages, and how they opt in
Only signed-in IntelliFirm account holders can enable SMS, and only for their own verified mobile number. Opt-in happens inside the authenticated app in Settings → Engagement reminders. Because the flow lives behind a login, the screenshots below are published here so reviewers can see the complete consent experience.
- In Engagement reminders, the “Text me (SMS)” toggle is OFF by default. No messages are sent unless the user turns it on.
- When the user turns the toggle on, a consent modal appears: “Turn on text reminders?” It states the full consent terms and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms.
- The user must click “I agree, turn on” to consent. Choosing “Cancel” leaves SMS off. Consent is not required to use IntelliFirm.
